Why we plan from a curated meal database — not AI-invented recipes
Most "AI meal planners" hallucinate recipes with macros that do not add up. Misi does the opposite: it selects from a lab-checked database of real meals and portion-scales them to your exact targets.
There is a quiet problem with AI-generated meal plans: the model invents a recipe, then guesses the macros. When you actually weigh the ingredients, the numbers rarely match. For someone hitting a protein target or a cut, "close enough" is not good enough.
A curated database, not a guess
Every meal Misi plans comes from a curated library of roughly 358 real meals, each with macros verified against a 2,300+ ingredient nutrition database. Nothing is invented at generation time, so the protein, carbs and fat you see are the protein, carbs and fat you eat.
The 6-pass portioning algorithm
Selecting the right meals is only half the job. Misi then portion-scales each meal across six passes — adjusting serving sizes meal by meal until your daily totals land within ±5% of your targets for every macro, not just calories.
The plan is only useful if the macros are real. That is why we check them before you ever see the meal — not after.
The result is a seven-day plan that actually hits your numbers, built from food you would recognise on a plate.
